Preparing hot meals for Senior Activity Day:
- Second and/or fourth Thursday of each month
- Target population is senior citizens
- Foods provided by the local Food Pantry
- Preparation of meal may be done at home or in facility kitchen
- Serve the clients and clean up after meal

The mission of the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center, Inc. is to serve Bastrop County residents going through periods of transition by providing Emergency Food Assistance, Education and Support

The Food Pantry served more than 10,000 households in 2015-more than 18,000 people, distributed more than 323,000 pounds of food and provided over 258,000 meals, 36 hours of instruction reaching 560 households, 8,000 referrals, 456 emergency interventions.
