Every year the San Jose Public Library offers a summer reading program called the Summer Learning Program which encourages reading during the summer. This reading can be done anywhere. We would love your help with this free summer learning library program for all ages. It runs June 1 st through July 31 st .

If you’re interested you will be trained and will assist the library by:

  • Signing up library patrons for the summer reading program
  • Distributing prizes to patrons
  • Answering basic questions about the program

We will be needing volunteers during our open library hours. Most volunteers volunteer for 1-2 days week in a two hour shift. If you are interested please contact Danielle at Danielle.Goynes@sjlibrary.org. Thank you!
