Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) in Seattle is seeking an unpaid intern to focus on Seattle Mini Maker Faire. The intern would work collaboratively within the Public Programming department and commit 12-20 hours per week. Ideal candidates have an interest in museum programming, community engagement, STEAM education, pop culture and the maker movement. The internship will provide the intern with an immersive public programming experience with a specific focus on the programming of the Seattle Mini Maker Faire.

Description
The Museum of Pop Culture is dedicated to the exploration of creativity and innovation in popular music. By blending interpretative, interactive exhibitions with cutting-edge technology, MoPOP captures and reflects the essence of rock 'n' roll, its roots in jazz, soul, gospel, country and the blues, as well as rock's influence on hip-hop, punk and other recent genres. Visitors can view rare artifacts and memorabilia and experience the creative process by listening to musicians tell their own stories.
