The Marching Elite is currently looking for volunteer teachers of marching percussion. Volunteers should be proficient in marching percussion (snare, bass, multi-tenors, single tenors, and cymbals) and have great enthusiasm for working with energetic young people and teaching music and be able to commit to Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30pm.

Potential teachers do not need to have prior teaching experience, although this is very helpful.

The music program consists of group lessons (sectional and ensemble practices). Although this is a voluntary position, we ask that teachers commit. This provides the consistency and stability that our participants need.

This is an ideal opportunity for music students, recent graduates and musicians to build experience and develop their teaching in a fun and dynamic environment, all the while meeting a very real need.
