ORGANIZATION: Bethany Christian Services

A family, couple, or male volunteer is needed to mentor a male teen refugee from Central African Republic. He has been in the United States since May 2016. He was brought into care after receiving threats from his uncle in home country. His father died and his mother remarried; he could visit his mother but not live with her. After the threats from his uncle, his brother paid for him to travel to the United States. He crossed the U.S. southern border and was placed in one of Bethany's group homes in September of 2016. The youth speaks fluent Moore, French, and Spanish. He is Muslim and does not eat pork for religious reasons. He attends East Kentwood High School.
