We are looking for a volunteer to come to our facility fairly consistently for a couple of hours every week (week days only) to help with the Advanced Training Dogs by doing tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Grooming 1 - 2 year old Labrador Retrievers
- Filling individual bags of dog food
- Letting the advanced training dogs out in the free run area
- Setting up the outdoor obstacle course
- Cleaning inside the training vans
- Driving the training vans out for errands
Don't worry if you can't do all of these tasks. Apply and come in to do the tasks you are comfortable doing. Every little bit of your time helps!
This position can be as short term or as long term as you like as we hope to get many volunteers to rotate in the position.
