We are looking for individuals, families, or groups of volunteers to help with setup day, and tasks on the day of the event, including setup, breakdown, kids activities, registration, raffle sales and more.
The purpose of the Annual event, The WALK-N-ROLL for Spina Bifida, is to raise funds to support the mission of the Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida (to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and enhance the lives of all affected) and spread awareness throughout the Central Florida community and beyond. This event is family friendly and provides free food and fun for everyone. The "Walk/Roll" consists of either a half mile or mile loop around the park. Participants are welcome to walk/roll around the loops as many times as they’d like.
Here are our available shifts:
November 8, 2019 (night before events)
-Loaders needed to load tents and supplies into U-Haul truck throughout the evening
November 9, 2019 (day of event)
-Set up, registration, greeters (7 am - 10 am)
-Activities, lunch, floating, general help (9 am - 1 pm)
-Break down and clean up (12 pm - 3 or 4 pm)

The Center of Disease Control (CDC) now estimates that over 166,000 Americans are affected by Spina Bifida. The Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida (SBACFL) is a dedicated group of individuals living with Spina Bifida and their families, as well as professionals and community volunteers, working to educate, advocate, network, provide resources and bring about public awareness of Spina Bifida.
The SBACFL is here to provide support and education to all who seek it. Join us in our efforts to make a difference in the Spina Bifida community.
