As The Good Neighbor Center grows, we are in need of more volunteers to better service our youth. Our goal is to get as close to one:one tutoring as possible, as the refugee and immigrant community that we serve benefits greatly from this. Tutoring goes from 6:30-8:30 each Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with a meal served to families, youth, and volunteers from 6:30-7pm. We generally do a lot of homework help, as well as activities that encourage learning and literacy, and we have a multitude of resources that would be available. We encourage bonding with the youth and other tutors during the meal, and during a short discussion and games period that we have. All are welcome here.
We'll work with your schedule.
