A Community Event Volunteer is someone who is willing to attend community events (such as fairs, arts events, community events, etc.) and distribute information about all of our opportunities at Holy Rosary-St. John. This would include distributing flyers about St. John Learning Center classes, the St. John Food Pantry, the Order of Malta Health Clinic, etc.
We want to get the word out at community events, but don't have enough staff to be able to cover these events ourselves. We would be willing to pay for a table (depending on cost) at community events, and the community events volunteer would simply staff that table and distribute information.
Also, if you have a business or hobby, and you regularly have tables at community events, if you'd be willing to include our flyers at your table, that would be great.

Description
The Community of Holy Rosary & St. John the Evangelist is a center city Roman Catholic Church with a focus on social outreach. Some of the ministries of the church include:
- Sunday 9:30 a.m. Mass with Gospel Choir
- St. John Community Center (community center that houses a variety of nonprofits and a health clinic)
- St. John Food Pantry
- St. John Learning Center (adult education)
- community gardens
- youth ministry
- senior ministry
- Martin Luther King Day Celebration
- Black Heritage Month Celebration
