Meals on Wheels Atlanta has two senior centers on site you can volunteer at:

Our Northside Activity Center offers a clean, safe, and inviting environment to help seniors stay active and socially engaged. Seniors are provided transportation to and from the centers and spend the day enjoying games, outings, health and wellness activities, and a hot lunch.

• The minimum age requirement for this opportunity is 13 and up, and those 16 and older are able to volunteer independently.
• Long pants, and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes, are required. No shorts or sandals, please.
• Before signing up for this event, an orientation is first required, and they occur every Tuesday at 6pm and every Saturday at 9am.

Our Adult Day Health Center (ADH) provides much needed day respite and assistance for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia, and their caregivers. Our medical-model center offers a full-time LPN and part-time RN to assist with most medical needs. Participation in ADH ensures our clients are able to remain in their own homes and with their families for a longer period of time. We utilize the Eden At Home approach and are certified by the State of Georgia.
