We are in need of volunteers who can help us on Wednesdays
Position Title: Donation Room- Clothing Team Member
Purpose/objective: Assist to maintain overall of incoming donations (shift 8:30am-12: 30 pm)
Reports to: Donation Room Team Lead
Key Responsibilities: - Help keep Donation room flow
-Greet donors at the donation door with a smile and write up donor receipts
-Hang and size clothes properly
-Follow salvage rules in order to bag salvage clothes and
items as well as bagging for homeless
-Assist with incoming deliveries (i.e. Pendy, Walmart, and Costco)
-Make sure to follow Boutique sheet for items that DO NOT go out onto the
Floor
-Do not put out clothes with the following: broken zippers, missing buttons,
dirty or smelly clothes used underwear or socks
-Go through clothing room racks and remove any empty hangers
Qualifications: Task-oriented
Good Communication skills
Basic inventory control knowledge
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
Volunteers may choose to help one day in a week, two days in a week or three days- as their schedule allows.

Description
Established in 1987, the Emergency Care Help Organization (E.C.H.O.) of Brandon is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community emergency food and disaster relief organization. Families who are having trouble making ends meet are given food, clothing, and household items assistance. E.C.H.O. provides help to Greater Brandon area single parents, homeless persons, retirees, families in transition, under-employed and unemployed households, grandparents raising grandchildren and others in need.
