Are you interested in volunteering for an organization that is dedicated to supporting families, child nutrition and care? Health Imperatives' Plymouth WIC office is looking for a motivated individual interested in assisting with duties associated with community based outreach and education. The requirements include but are not limited to the following:
Community involvement:
● Assisting the community coordinator in ideas and events for outreach and efforts to
recruit new participants for the WIC programs this office is responsible for.
● Organizing outreach materials to be used to educate potential participants.
● Organizing toys for potential events.
● Assisting in setting aside business cards that may be of use to family support coordinator
and/or participants.
Community travel:
● Must have reliable transportation.
● After being trained/briefed by community coordinator, assisting in events at different
public locations such as WIC partnered supermarkets, farmers markets and more.
● Assisting in advertisement of events at different locations.
Technology:
● Must be proficient in programs such as Microsoft Office, including word, excel,
powerpoint, etc.
● Tasks involving tracking success rates using excel may be asked of volunteer.

Health Imperatives is a non-profit community based agency that provides vital health and human services to nearly 30,000 families and individuals each year from communities stretching from Quincy to Nantucket.
Health Imperatives promotes healthy, safe, and vibrant families and communities. We support families and individuals who are struggling to cope with the devastating effects of poverty and violence, individuals who are worried about their health and safety, and parents who may be unprepared for the challenges of raising young children.
