The Laundry Truck

Social Media Volunteer for Bayaud Enterprises' Laundry Truck
Reports to: Marketing Manager

This position requires knowledge of social media and the ability to use problem solving skills. The volunteer will work independently offsite and must have access to a computer.

Tasks:
All required posts will use a single image that will be sent to the volunteer ahead of time. The volunteer will copy and paste the text and then update the date and location of the Laundry Truck appearance.

Every month the volunteer will create an Event for each laundry truck appearance. The volunteer will tag the organization where the Laundry Truck will be and make them a cohost of the event so understanding Facebook Events is important.

After creating the new event, the volunteer will create a scheduled post using Facebook to tag the organization and remind people where tthe laundry truck will be the day before the event.

The next step is to create a post using Hootsuite to tag the host organization on Twitter to remind people where the laundry truck will be the day before the event. This method will be used for Linked In as well. Understanding Hootsuite is a plus but the Marketing Manaer can provide training.

Expansion of responsibilities is possible if there is interest.
