Providence ElderPlace-PACE(Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.
In Home Friendly Visitors: The ElderPlace In HomeFriendly Visitors program provides one-on-one support to our participants within their living environment outside of the ElderPlace facilities. ElderPlace participants live throughout King County.
We have four participants on the Eastside who would love to have weekly or twice monthly visitors:
-This lovely woman urgently requests a volunteer to do crafts with her.
-This wonderful woman enjoys painting, nature shows and soap operas, and Spanish music.
-This lovely woman living would enjoy watching college basketball or football together on TV, reminiscing, spiritual activities, this woman is of the Catholic faith.
-This charming gentleman is interested in movies, collecting and playing cards.
- Ability to engage with many types of people
- Good listening skills
- 18 + years of age
A general new volunteer orientation of two hours is required as well as an in home volunteer orientation for this position.

PACE programs keep older adults as healthy as possible in the community by providing comprehensive health care and social services including: primary and specialty medical care, a day health program, social work services, rehabilitation, housing (if necessary) and much more.
Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly).Participants attend the Providence ElderPlace Center on a regular basis, and transportation is provided. The ElderPlace team of health care and social service professionals and our affiliates provide comprehensive integrated care to our participants.
