Providence ElderPlace-PACE (Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

In Home Friendly Visitors: The ElderPlace In Home Friendly Visitors provide one-on-one support to our participants within their living environment outside of the ElderPlace facilities. ElderPlace participants live throughout King County.

Many of our participants are alone in their homes. Having a regular volunteer visitor makes a huge difference in their lives.
We have participants in the South King County area who would love to have a regular visitor. It could be you!

  • Ability to engage with many types of people
  • Desire to connect with seniors
  • Patience
  • Good listening skills
  • Dependable
  • 18 + years of age

A general new volunteer orientation of two hours is required. An in home volunteer orientation for this opportunity is provided.

Description

Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly).Participants attend the Providence ElderPlace Center on a regular basis, and transportation is provided. The ElderPlace team of health care and social service professionals and our affiliates provide comprehensive integrated care to our participants.
