Shatterproof is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the devastation addiction causes families.
We're hosting our 2nd year of 5Ks across the country (11 cities!). Help us capture the emotion as thousands gather together to celebrate their recovery, as well as honor their lost loved ones. Help us show that people living with addiction are not alone.

1 in 3 people is affected by addiction. Drug overdose is now the #1 cause of accidental death in America, and in just one year (2016-2017), the rate of overdose deaths rose 21%. Enough is enough.
By donating your time and talent, you help us put more money towards our mission. 100% of the funds raised at the event also go directly to our mission. Thank you for your consideration.

Description
Welcome to Shatterproof! We believe that together we have the capacity to reduce the devastating impact of addiction on families across America. Together we can help parents prevent their children from developing an addiction to alcohol and other drugs and ensure that those afflicted with this disease gain access to proven and effective treatments and long-term recovery programs. Together we can reduce the stigma and secrecy associated with addiction, removing the shame felt by those struggling with this disease and their families.
Shatterproof will work to educate, empower and equip parents, families, educators, health care providers, legislators, and others to address addiction head on. We are building a national organization to address serious gaps in funding and resources for the disease of addiction. Please join us.
