We are looking for volunteers in the Dearborn area to provide support to our patients with life-limiting illnesses. There is no medical or personal care required while visiting with the patients. Activities that are appropriate for the time spent with patients are:
- providing companionship
- simple conversations
- card games
- watching television or movies
- reading together
- looking through photos, and sharing stories
- simply holding a hand
- or sitting quietly with them while families run a quick errand
Your time is a gift to our patients and their loved ones.

Description
Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
