Exciting opportunities exist for volunteers at Trinity Living at St. Johns, Rowan County's first group respite program in Salisbury, NC! This will be a partnership between Trinity Living Center (a ministry of Lutheran Services Carolinas) and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
We are looking for help with our daily activities, this may include- crafts, cooking, needlework, games, gardening, art projects, and men's workshop activities. We also need people available for one on one conversations and/or reading with participants. This program relies on having a group of good strong volunteers. The is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our participants and the community.
Hours that volunteers are needed for are the following:
Monday's 9-1
Wednesday's 9-1
Thursday's 9-1
Friday's 9-1
Program will be starting in Early August and there will be volunteer training prior to the program starting.

Description
Trinity Living Center offers an adult day program in Salisbury. Services are provided during the day Monday through Friday and include an enriching activities program, nutritious meals, medical supervision, and dignified assistance with personal care needs. Additional services available include bathing, beauty and barber shop services, rehabilitative therapy, and transportation to and from the center. Located at 1416-A S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, the center has over 6,000 square feet of secured space, allowing for safe wandering both inside and in the secured courtyard. A full-time registered nurse, certified nursing assistants, activities director, activities assistant, program coordinator and receptionist make up the Trinity Living Center staff.
