Save to Favorites

Volunteer Polk

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 3 people are interested

Polk County's Circle B Nature Reserve plays a key role in assisting in the restoration of Lake Hancock, improving the water quality of the Peace River and providing a public recreational area. For employee volunteer teams; church, civic, fraternity/sorority, or school groups seeking a volunteer project work day, the staff of Circle B offers the following project ideas:

Provide assistance with any or any combination of these projects -

1) Weeding

2) Mulching

3) Planting trees / plants, etc.

The maximum recommended group size is 25 people (later you will see the system says up to 20 - this is only because 25 was not a selectable option).

Additional details will be provided once we are able to talk with you to learn more about what time of the year you are coming. If you like, your group could also inquire about bringing a picnic lunch to enjoy some additional bonding time and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings!
