My Good Mourning Place is having a Pancake Breakfast to support the great efforts and work volunteers provide grieving children and families. We are a non-profit and volunteer only organization. Throughout the year, we have fundraisers, including this Pancake Breakfast, to help raise money to maintain our resources and support for the children and their families.
We are grateful to you for considering this opportunity to assist us. Members of the Board will be setting-up and serving. And, we are thankful to Blessed Sacrament Church Community for sharing their space with us for this great event.
Please join us un gathering and no skills required, only a friendly smile and open heart with a willingness to serve. If you are wanting to volunteer with us for Service Hours, please join us. Thank you for your service.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to help children and their families who have experienced grief due to the loss of a loved one. Families are offered support, understanding, empathy and education in a safe environment that is conducive to acceptance, respect, trust, and caring throughout the grief process.
Description
My Good Mourning Place is a bereavement center especially designed to help children and teens cope with the death of a loved one. Our services are volunteer-based and free to the families we serve. We are located on Milwaukee's south side and serve all of southeastern Wisconsin.
Children and teems attending our programs are invited to share their thoughts and memories in a safe, caring, and home-like environment. Our trained facilitators help them to communicate their feelings and integrate the loss into their livesby leading groups in various projects (art, drama, music, play). At the same time, the responsible adult accompanying attends their own support group.
We do not discriminate based on age, race, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, or military service
