A 55 year old woman living with ALS and her husband are looking for someone to help with organization. They want to sort their personal items in their house and tidy their garage and tool shed. They think this could all be accomplished in two to three visits. They prefer for a volunteer to help late morning and early afternoon, ideally on Monday or Thursday but are open to any weekday, if necessary.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
