We have instrument resources such keyboards, ukuleles, hand bells, Boomwhackers, Taiko tire drums, xylophones and music curriculum based on national arts standards.
Days and times are flexible based on your availability. Aside from during the school day, there are opportunities for before school (7am - 7:45am) and after school (2:15pm - 3:00pm).
We also have short-term arts projects planned (such as construction projects and arts festivals) that can utilize volunteer organizations. Please contact us if you are interested!

Village Meadows Elementary Music Club / PTO Cultural Arts Committee We partner with school families and the community to create an exceptional educational experience by integrating The Arts into Village Meadows Elementary in order to: - Develop and foster a lifelong love of The Arts in our students. - Integrate song, movement, language, play and social interaction to promote attentiveness, imagination, creativity and JOY! - Develop positive character traits and skills necessary for life-long success.
Description
The Wolves Music Club started in 2015 as a grass-roots, parent initiative to offer music as an after-school club. Over the past three years, the club has reached over 150 students in various activities such as recorders, ukuleles, chorus, music composition, Taiko (Japanese ensemble drumming), bucket drumming, hand bells, xylophones, and Boomwhackers. The club is now a before-school gathering which limits the potential of reaching more students.
Starting in the 2018-2019 school year, we are looking for Arts Mentors who will partner with the school to bring music, art, language, dance/movement and drama/plays into the classrooms to reach every student. We have seen firsthand how the arts positively affect students well-being and want to multiply that opportunity to the whole school, to include our special needs students.
