Looking for some assistance in our resident library with helping to put books back on the shelf, labeling donated books and keeping these areas tidy.
We have a small, two room library that is open to our residents to use. All of the books on our shelves are donated and used throughout our community. We have a drop off cart where residents can bring books back to be re-shelved. As we get new books in, books need to be labeled and sorted into sections in our library. Lastly, there is a magazine table that needs a little grooming on occasion to keep this space tidy and accessible to our residents.
I would also be interested in putting together a book cart to be brought to resident rooms so that they can take books out without the necessity of coming to the library. I would also love to have a featured book section where books could be selected to be displayed and specific titles could be described or authors could be featured.
We do have a book club at Stapeley that volunteers could collaborate with if interested. This group meets on the last Monday of most months.
Looking forward to working with you!!
