The local Down syndrome achievement center has several special events taking place this summer and volunteers are needed to make sure they are successful. These events take place on a variety of days and at different locations and times. There are car shows, a benefit concert, the John Deere Classic, a Fun Run and our annual Superhero 5K, 1 Mile Walk and Kids Dash for Down syndrome.
Tasks could include but are not limited to:
- Selling 50/50 tickets
- Set up and tear down
- Working a concession stand
- Recruitment of donations (monetary and in kind)

GiGi's Playhouses are a series of Down syndrome achievement centers throughout the United States and Mexico offering no-cost educational, therapeutic and career developmental programming to individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community.
