2019 marks Kids in Crisis's 12th year of KIC IT Races! KIC IT Races are the area's premier multi-level sporting events and one of the most important fundraisers for Kids in Crisis, Fairfield County's only emergency shelter and counseling center for children ages newborn to seventeen.This event would not be possible without you! It takes hundreds of volunteers to make this event successful. Volunteers like you! Sign up by yourself, come as a group or with a team. No matter what, you'll have a great time helping a great cause. Volunteers receive a free t-shirt, coffee and snacks.

Mission Statement
To protect infants, children and teens from abuse and family crisis. To this end we provide free, round-the-clock crisis intervention, counseling and emergency shelter, prevention programs in local communities and advocacy throughout Connecticut.
Description
Founded in 1978, Kids in Crisis offers free, 24-hour help for Connecticut's infants, children, adolescents and families. Our programs include Crisis Counseling, Intervention, Educational Support, Medical Care, and Emergency Shelter.
