ARE YOU A RETIRED VETERINARIAN? ARE YOU EMPLOYED BUT HAVE A FEW HOURS EACH WEEK YOU'D LIKE TO VOLUNTEER?
We are looking for help at our wildlife center. You'll be caring for incoming animals as well as our educational animals. You will:
- assist with triage and stabilization
- examine and establish treatment plans
- assist with training of our vet room staff
- assist with training our rehabilitators on animal care procedures
We admit approximately 5,000 animals every year. The majority of them are birds but we admit any native Texas animal that is brought to us.
