Looking for a Technical Director Assistant who loves being creative with technology, working with others, and has a desire to use artistic technical skills related to lighting and sound in a community theater environment where fun is priority #1.
Description
As a Technical Director Assistant, you'll be part of The Marco Players' Production Team. You'll work with a team of talented volunteers including a director, technical director, actors, and stage manager.
You will participate in an orientation and hands-on training and be encouraged to use your creativity and organizational skills to assist the technical director to operate, maintain, and safeguard the technical assets of the theater. Use your creative skills to recommend lighting and sound design that enhances our live productions.
Production volunteers receive 2 complimentary season passes to attend up to 6 preview night shows duringthe 2018-2019 season at The Marco Players Theater. (Valued at $672)
The production season begins September 2018 and runs through May 12, 2019. Orientation, training, and ongoing mentoring is provided. There are six main productions for which you may volunteer for at least one or all six productions!
