  House Manager - Volunteer

  Looking for a House Manager who loves being in charge, assumes leadership easily and can handle the "hiccups" when they come along. Our 83-seat theater is a well-organized theater environment where fun is priority #1.
  
  Description
  
  As the House Manager, you'll be part of The Marco Players' Production and Box Office Team. You'll work with other volunteers including actors, stage manager, and tech booth crew.
  
  You will participate in an orientation and hands-on training and be encouraged to use your leadership and time management skills to manage theater operations prior to, during, and immediately following a show.
  
  A house manager is the eyes and ears in house for the Stage Manager. They let the house manager know if the show is ready to begin (are the bathrooms clear, is everyone checked in?) They also give the Stage Manager updates during the check in process and intermission. Seating or ticketing issues are handled by the Box Office Manager. The House Manager handles any emergencies or customer issues once the doors open.
  
  Production volunteers receive 2 complimentary season passes to enjoy preview night productions for up to 6 productions for the season at The Marco Players Theater.
  
  There are 3 summer shows in July and August and the main season runs from October - May. House Managers typically commit to volunteer 2 days a week anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks.
