Through our digital skills programs, The Knowledge House is transforming the tech industry by building an army of talented workers equipped with the latest skills needed in today’s economy.
Description
The Knowledge House was founded in 2014 to close the gaps in the education-to-employment pipeline by leading digital skills training in coding and design for underserved young people in the Bronx, ages 14-35. Co-founded by CEO Jerelyn Rodriguez, Bronx-native and daughter of Dominican immigrants, and CTO Joe Carrano, Brooklyn-native and son of Ecuadorian immigrants, The Knowledge House is committed to taking emerging technologists from underrepresented groups on a direct path to meaningful employment in the technology sector by providing free technical training and professional development services.
Headquartered in the South Bronx, The Knowledge House provides job training to youth and adults seeking careers in technology. We offer year-long fellowship programs to job seekers in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Newark that provide entry-level skills for data engineering, web development, product design, and cyber security roles.
