The tremendous success of our first market was due, in large part, to our amazing volunteers. Our 2nd International Folk Art Market | Arlington (IFAMA) will be held, once again, on The Green on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington the weekend of June 14th, 15th and 16th. We need you! Signing up as a volunteer, means you hereby release, waive and discharge 2018 IFAMA committees, UTA, Artists, and it’s officers, directors, employees, agents and volunteers from any and all claims in connection with volunteering for this event. In addition, you agree to allow the 2018 IFAMA to record on photography film and/or video, pictures of your participation and that these materials may be used, in any form, as part of any future publications without compensation. The International Folk Art Market seeks to create economic opportunities for and with folk artists worldwide who celebrate and preserve folk art traditions. Each July we transform Railyard park in Santa Fe, NM into a bustling outdoor market. This year we are hosting over 160 artists from 52 different countries.
The success of the International Folk Art Market | Santa Fe depends on amazing volunteers who provide their expertise, passion, and resourcefulness to make this the largest folk art market of its kind. We have different volunteer opportunities to suit every interest and skill set, including Artist Assistants, Bike Valet, Cashiers, Handypersons, Photography, Interpreters, Production, & more!
As a volunteer you get to experience the Market, receive a free ticket to a general admission timed session, receive a free volunteer t-shirt, have access to our Hospitality Tent, gain a new skill set, make friends with 1,800 Volunteers, and meet artists from around the world.
