Help celebrate Fire in the Sky -- Columbia’s Fourth of July celebration. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, July 4 to assist with event setup, supporting the children’s activity area from 5:30-9 p.m.; joining our Special Events Safety Crew to secure the fireworks zone from 5:30-10 p.m.; providing parking assistance at parking lots from 5-9:30 p.m. ; assisting the stage crew with setup/cleanup from 5:30-10 p.m. Parking lot monitors are also needed for earlier in the afternoon- 12- 2:45 p.m. or 2:30-5 p.m.
All positions are needed at the event site, Stephens Lake Park. T-shirts and dinner will be provided to volunteers!
