Meals on Wheels Orange County is looking for a friendly visitor for a lonely senior in Anaheim. As a friendly visitor, you visit in the home of the older adult and offer conversation, friendship, and understanding. A commitment of one hour per week is all that is expected, but it will mean the world to this senior. She just needs a friend to share stories with. She really likes music.
As a volunteer you will be a part of Meals on Wheels OC, who provides meals on wheels and other services for over 900 homebound seniors in Orange County, to help seniors remain as independent as possible. Meals on Wheels OC's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of seniors and their families in our community. The Friendly Visitor Program is an important part of that mission.
