Are you outgoing and passionate about the work that SPARC Hope does?
You are exactly who we need to stand in the gap for our clients and advocate on their behalf. SPARC Hope partners up with different restaurants throughout the year who realize the importance of our work and agree to host fundraising nights to benefit SPARC Hope.
We need volunteer teams to oversee these events. Each team should consist of 3 or more people who will be responsible for various tasks depending on what each restaurant allows. Some examples of roles are greeters, set up/tear down SPARC displays, collect guest information, run door prize station.
Each team works a roughly a two- and half-hour shift, manning the SPARC Hope information table., sharing our mission and just inviting the guest to learn more about our work and how they can be a part of providing support, encouragement and guidance to single parents in the pursuit of opportunities for career advancement and independence for their families.
This is a great opportunity for Single Parents that remember the struggle, Children who remember the struggle of having a single parent, and ANYONE that feels a connection to making life better for Single Moms/Dads that get up and go to work while pursuing their higher educational goals all while raising their children alone!

Description
- We want to empower single parents to seek a better quality of life through pursuing higher education, allowing them to become self-supportive through a new career.
- Breaking the cycle of poverty through higher education or technical education.
- We know the road to the American Dream is full of obstacles, we help single-parent families navigate through those obstacles.
- SPARC Hope serves single-parent families who are struggling to make ends meet and who are willing to make the extra effort to help secure the future for themselves and their children.
- We are a liaison between resources and services for single moms in our community. SPARC Hope is not a welfare or charity, but rather a hand up.
- Our goal is to uplift the Spiritual, Physical and Emotional needs of single parents.
