Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is forming a Volunteer Relations Committee! We're looking for individuals with experience or interest in:
-Volunteer Recruitment: creating/posting flyers, speaking to groups and businesses, tabling at events, and advocacy.
-Volunteer Recognition: writing thank you cards, planning appreciation events (picnics, potlucks, small outings..)
-Solicitation of snacks, drinks, and small gifts as a thank you to volunteers both on-site and in-store
The committee is expected to meet once per month, or once every six weeks. Scheduling is flexible, and most undertakings can be done on your own time. If you find yourself wanting to become a foundational part of our organization, this may be a nice fit for you. We're happy to supply more information, and we're happy to hear about the skills you like to bring forth and offer.

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that partners with financial donors, local families, and community volunteers to build and sell affordable homes in Northwest Vermont. Habitat homebuyers help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through our efforts, 102 families have achieved the strength, stability, and independence needed to build a better life for themselves and their children.
