If you enjoy creating art and helping others, consider being an Education Volunteer at the Zanesville Museum of Art! Our Education Volunteers are vital to making sure our education programs run smoothly and are enjoyable for museum guests. You will be working with guests of all age groups during children's Summer Art Camps, Badge Days, Sunday Fun Days, the Y-Bridge Arts Festival, and more!
Formal art education is not required for volunteers.
Education Volunteers will:
- Assist in set-up of events
- Prepare art activities, including supplies and examples
- Assist the Education Coordinator and art instructors with group management in the galleries, during the events, and during cleanup
- Take photos during programs

As the largest art museum in southeastern Ohio, the Zanesville Museum of Art serves a diverse public, including families, working artists, school and university students, and cultural tourists. The ZMA has a diverse and outstanding collection of fine American, European, Asian, and African paintings, works on paper, sculpture, decorative and functional arts. The ZMA strongly supports the art of contemporary Ohioans through its temporary exhibitions.
