Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm topics and write bi-weekly blog posts for publication on UPchieve blog.
- Curate corresponding visual content for blog posts as needed
- Work with our Director of Marketing to promote blog posts
- Regularly update and monitor UPchieve’s blog, responding to individual comments as necessary
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing skills with writing samples to share
- Creative, with exciting ideas for future UPchieve blog posts
- (Bonus) Prior experience writing for a blog or publication

UPchieve is a nonprofit organization that provides underserved middle and high school students with access to free, online, and on-demand tutoring and college counseling. We believe getting help when you need it should be simple for all students - not just those with educated, financially stable, and supportive parents. That is why we are developing an app that will allow students to request a volunteer at any time and be connected within minutes.
