Ferndale’s Fusion Festival will be held at Martin Road Park and is anticipated to draw
over 1,200 attendees throughout the Metro-Detroit area. The festival will host various fitness performances from local, independently owned gyms & fitness companies on multiple stages throughout the day. New & popular classes, such as, Cross Fit, Zumba, Senior Aerobics, Yoga, Toddler Olympics, and much more will be performed and available for crowd participation. The following activities will take place at the Fusion Festival:

  • Over 12 gyms and fitness studio performing from Ferndale, Royal Oak, Berkley, Birmingham, and Detroit.
  • Food vendors and restaurants from Ferndale, Royal Oak, Berkley, Birmingham, and Detroit.
  • Several DJ's from across the Metro Detroit area.
  • Vendors from Ferndale, Royal Oak, Berkley, Birmingham and Detroit to sell/promote products, and or services related to the health and wellness or fitness community.
  • Multiple bounce houses and festival amenities sponsored by Oakland County Parks
  • BONUS: The first ever fitness festival of this magnitude in the area.

We believe we share a common goal - to be the trailblazers in the health & fitness community by focusing on extraordinary outcomes through education, innovation, and compassion.

Volunteers are needed to help with ALL aspects of the festival including but not limited to:
  • Set-Up
  • Registration
  • Survey Data Collecting
  • Security
  • Crowd Control
  • Passing out merchandise
  • Assisting Vendors
  • Clean-Up

We are the Parks & Recreation Department for the City of Ferndale Michigan. Ferndale has approximately 20,000 residents and a vibrant downtown. Most of our programs are offered at the Kulick Community Center or at local city parks.
