Habitat for Humanity of Dane County

Habitat is in need of volunteers to help out with the ReStore Donations team!

This volunteer will drive a 24’ truck, help screen donations on site, and help deliver and unload donations at our stores.

We are looking for individuals with a clean driving record, capable of lifting 50 pounds, and able to provide excellent customer service to our donors in the community.

Description

At Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, we don't offer handouts, we offer a hand up.

In Dane County, 1 in 8 people live in poverty, including 16% of all Dane County children. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County builds and rehabilitates simple, decent homes with the help of our partner families to provide affordable housing. Habitat partner families provide labor and make monthly mortgage payments on their homes at a low interest rate.
