Volunteer is needed for comfort visits for a lonely patient who lives alone in Lower Buckeye, this would be a companionship role, talking with patient, playing games, watching television, etc. There would be no care needed, minimal physical contact with patient. Volunteers must be the age of 18+. Visits are only 1-2 hours at a time.
We also have a respite need for a patient, sitting with the patient talking while the family leaves for 1-2 at a time.
Required to begin:
- Tuberculosis test provided by Homestead
- Drug Screen from labcorp, provided by Homestead
- Orientation 1-2 hours provided by Homestead
