Brighton Main Streets (brightonmainstreets.org) seeks a detail-oriented volunteer with strong financial knowledge to assist the Executive Director in maintaining and reporting on the organization’s revenue, assets, and liabilities. This volunteer will play a critical role in BMS’s mission to support and enhance our commercial district and residential neighborhoods through their work to support a strong infrastructure and internal operations for this vibrant, growing organization. The Finance Volunteer will spend approximately 1.5 hours per week based in the BMS main office(located at 358 Washington Street in Brighton Center) and will work closely with the Executive Director to intake and process donations and grant awards; submit invoices for payment from outside vendors; and provide financial reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders. Working virtually is also an option after the on-boarding process is complete. Discretion and good judgment a must; you will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect our organization and our partners. Prior Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
