Volunteers for hospice care visit with the patients at least once a week in the patient's home or nursing facility. The volunteer provide companionship to our patients during this critical time in their lives. They are there to be a calming presence, a friend, and at times to give a respite to the family or the patient's primary caregiver. You will provide a compassionate service that in return gives you personal, emotional and spiritual growth.
