• Write, Edit, and Complete new and renewal proposals, concept papers, program reports, letters of inquiry, and stewardship documents;
• build confidence and rapport among clients, future clients, donors and staff
• collect information and data to develop and implement fundraising strategies for specific program areas, etc
• allocate approximately 30% of time to project management activities to ensure that important internal and external deadlines are met;
• research potential private, public funding opportunities and program expansion sites
• develop growth and recognition strategies for current institutional donors, clients and future clients
• act as liaison to select donors, facilitating donor site visits, clients and future program sites including scheduling, planning, content development, generating briefing documents for participating staff members;
• create program budgets, budget narratives and financial reports; and
• track donor activities and programming initiatives

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years' experience as a grant writer; previous experience in education is a plus.
• Able to thrive under deadline pressure.
• Proficiency in researching, interpreting, and analyzing diverse data.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and fundraising databases.
• Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to be a team player and to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
