Baby Book Club is a time for caregivers of young children (0-3 years old) to learn and practice early literacy strategies to support their child's learning. We sing, dance, read, rhyme, and promote learning through play everyday! As a Baby Book Club assistant, you will engage with the families each session and help the facilitator create the agenda each week.
Bilingual skills in English or Vietnamese desired, but not required. All volunteers over the age of 18 will be required to submit a fingerprint background check.
You can begin your application on sjpl.org/volunteer under the East San Jose Carnegie branch library tab. If you have any questions, please email Gabriela at Gabriela.alvaradogarcia@sjlibrary.org
