Hand2Paw is an organization that helps opportunity youth and shelter animals through paid internships working in animal shelters. We are currently working at the Pennsylvania SPCA's shelter at 350 E. Erie Avenue and the Fishtown adoption center. One of the things our youth need to work on is the ability to tell their stories. We would also like to use video to promote animals for adoption. We are looking for someone with experience using video in social media to volunteer approximately an hour a week helping us make some engaging videos that will give the youth practice telling their stories and the stories of the animals they work with and also use those videos to connect us with potential donors on social media.

Mission Statement
Hand2Paw connects homeless and at risk youth to shelter animals through volunteering and paid internships. We are based in Philadelphia and place interns in animal shelters in Pennsylvania SPCA, Morris Animal Refuge, Brandywine Valley SPCA and PAWS.
Description
Since 2010, Hand2Paw has been providing paid internship experiences to youth who are homeless, in foster care or otherwise disconnected from school and the work force. Our young people gain work experience while helping animals waiting for homes in shelters and, in the course of the experience, develop qualities of empathy, responsibility, cooperation and problem solving that will serve them the rest of their lives.
