Main Purpose of the Job

We have an exciting new Community Manager opportunity available at We Make Change! This comes with the exciting new launch of We Make Change Communities - which will allow people to join different communities relevant to the causes they care about.

Each community manager will be assigned a specific cause related community, with the goal of ensuring that anyone who wants to be involved in the cause they care about can be, and that they have the best possible experience whilst doing so.

Responsibilities

• Grow and engage the Cause Community
• Work with the community to develop specific project ideas
• Coordinate online meetups to discuss the specific cause
• Organise Hackathons with the community to develop project ideas
• Identify potential Project Managers
• Encourage involvement in existing and new projects

Requirements

• Positive attitude & a people person!
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Detail oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
• Fluency in English

Time commitment

The time commitment can be as little as 4 hours per week, depending on your availability.

Location

The role will be performed remotely, so applications are welcomed from across the world.
