Community-Based Mentoring allows individuals who are 18 or older to visit with a child in need of a supportive role model. Mentors meet with a child for four hours a month, participating in activities throughout the community you both enjoy. You can take walks together, go to the park, play catch, watch a football game, make dinner...the possibilities are endless. The one thing that doesn't change is that you're building a friendship that will make a difference in a child's life. A year commitment is required to be a Community-Based Mentor.
