Seeking personable volunteers to help with light house-keeping (vacuuming, dusting and mopping) for Spokane area seniors. Your donations of time and elbow grease enable low-income seniors and disabled adults to remain in their own homes with dignity, safety and connection to the community.
No special certifications are needed, and monthly time commitments are flexible, depending on the schedule of the volunteer. In exchange for your time, you can expect to develop a strong, lasting relationship with an elderly or disabled individual and gain a new perspective on life in Spokane.
All ages welcome! We have many volunteers who no longer consider themselves young but are still young at heart! We are looking for volunteers in all neighborhoods of Spokane and Spokane Valley. Temporary and long-term opportunities available.
Due to the vulnerable population that we serve, volunteers are required to complete an application which asks for 3 references and authorization to run a background check. Volunteer Services is a department of Catholic Charities Eastern Washington.
