Mentee on MicroMentor
Help an entrepreneur today.

Mentoring a small business owner is a great way to leverage your existing skills to make a big impact using a small amount of your time. 4/5 of our volunteers say that their experience is very valuable to them, and it's clear why - mentors get to build relationships with diverse entrepreneurs and contribute to their personal and professional development. They get to watch entrepreneurs blossom into successful business owners who then improve their local communities around the world.

Entrepreneurs who receive mentoring on MicroMentor create 3 jobs each (5 times better than those who don't receive mentoring). They also average a 90% survival rate and grow their revenues by an average of 300%! This makes a huge difference, especially when 40% of our entrepreneurs live on a low income, and 90% of them have fewer than 5 employees.

All you need to do to join is create a profile on MicroMentor.org, search for entrepreneurs that interest you, reach out, and start a conversation. You work out the scope of your engagement wtih the entrepreneur, while our team supports you every step of the way. It's that easy,

"I have been privileged to have had mentor discussions with entrepreneurs from five countries, including South Africa and Australia, each with as varied and diverse needs as the enterprises and passions they're following. Through each of these encounters, I have walked away learning something about myself as much as I have learned about others, and find this volunteer endeavor immensely rewarding." - Dale, Hospitality Executive from Texas

"I have been a volunteer mentor for four years, and it has been an inspiring and fulfilling experience for me. It is rewarding that I am able to use all that I have learned to help others. And the best part is how appreciative the mentees are! A lot of what they need is just an impartial sounding board, a coach, and a supportive friend to help keep them on track."

- Margo, Sales and Marketing Expert from Oregon

"MicroMentor changed my life. ... through the mentors at MicroMentor I have increased my sales. I didn't know anything in business, and I needed the right people to help me take my business from failing to profit. I love the service, and I would recommend it to anyone."

- Sheryl - Picture Bakery - Photo Booths for Special Events from California
