Join us for live local music in the streets of Downtown Champaign. Enjoy local food and drinks available from your favorite downtown establishments and listen to some great CU talent.

Get right in the middle of all the action of StreetFest by volunteering for one of the time slots below!

12PM-3PM : SETUP-- Help shut down the streets of Downtown Champaign and line them with tables and chairs. You can be the first to snag a table at the start of the event!

11:30PM-1AM: BREAKDOWN --- At the end of the concert we need help resetting the street for car traffic as well as tear down of all the tables and chairs.

SPECIAL PERKS: sign up to volunteer and get a free Volunteer T-Shirt and SWAG BAG full of Champaign Park District goodies! Snacks and drinks will also be provided during your volunteer shift!

Description

The Champaign Park District is a special district of local government with its own financial and legal responsibilities. It is governed by five elected residents of Champaign who give their services to the community. The Park Board holds its regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm and study sessions on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Bresnan Meeting Center, 706 Kenwood Road. Residents are invited to attend and are welcome to make suggestions or comments to improve programs or facilities.

The Champaign Park District’s 58 parks total over 700 acres. Thirteen facilities are available for a wide variety of recreational opportunities.
