Falls City Community BikeWorks (FCCB) is Louisville's 501(c)(3) non-profit community bike shop! We are located in Shelby Park at 1217 Logan St. 40204.

FCCB is looking for a few volunteer bike mechanics to help us serve our community. Volunteers with bike shop experience would be extra helpful, but anyone that can change a tube or replace a chain would be great! Mechanics typically spend their time assisting members with repairing or upgrading their bicycles; during slower times, we restore donated bikes to get them road-ready.

Volunteering with FCCB is a great way to share your bike knowledge with those wanting to learn, and a place to hang out with other bike guys and gals while you debate the merits of ever-changing bottom bracket standards.

The FCCB shop is well-equipped with five workstations, many bike-specific tools, and a great courtyard hangout space. We are proud of our inclusive vibe that welcomes all backgrounds and experience levels. We have a stock of new and used parts and supplies for your project bike(s), and offer periodic training courses for more complex bike repair tasks like gear adjustment, brake tuning, and wheel-building.

Annual membership at FCCB is $60. We will waive membership fees for volunteers who put in 8 hours of Sweat Equity (general volunteering) before becoming full members. Special membership consideration will be given to volunteers who have experience repairing and adjusting bikes!

FCCB is currently open:
-Wednesdays 6:30-9:30pm
-Sundays 1:00-4:00pm
We would love to add more shop hours during the week, but we need more volunteers!
